1. Sponsor

Gritz N Wafflez, 3183 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 185, Los Angeles, CA 90010 ("Sponsor"), a woman-owned business. App and game provided by SousShift AI.

2. Eligibility

3. No purchase necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO PLAY ORDER UP!, TO SPIN THE DAILY WHEEL, OR TO WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

4. Order Up! is a game of skill

Your score depends only on how well you run the line. You build each guest's plate from ready-made items, serve it to the pass and deliver it to the right table. The biggest part of the score is speed, measured to the tenth of a second from the moment a table sits down. You also score for how hot the plate is when it arrives (to the percent), every correct item and special request, a clean build (no undo), the order's pay and the guest's tip (both depend on speed, heat and the guest's mood; a cold plate gets no tip), a streak multiplier for perfect plates in a row, a bonus for serving a whole table together, and a bonus for every level you clear. From level 4 (adult mode) some items must be cooked first (fryer at level 4; waffle irons and skillet at level 5); they score for how close they are to perfectly done. Points come off for wrong plates, wrong tables, undercooked or charred food and tables that walk out. Each level lasts 90 seconds; three walk-outs end the run. Before playing you pick a mode. 🧑 Adult mode starts relaxed (guests wait about 75 seconds at level 1 and a hot plate stays hot about 22 seconds) and tightens each level. 🧒 Kid mode (meant for ages 12 and under; it is self-selected and no age is asked or stored) is slower still (about two minutes of patience and about 27 seconds of heat at level 1), only adds cooking at level 5 (the fryer, with slower cook times), and its speed score is measured against each level's pace. Each mode has its own prize scores, best score and weekly board. Guests, orders and tip personalities appear in a varied sequence so every shift is different, but no prize in the game is awarded by chance: prizes depend only on your score. Money shown in the game is for scoring only (sample prices), not the restaurant's prices.
